…love her little fingers…
..and her chubby baby thighs. :)

Luka conned me into going outside to color with his sidewalk chalk. It was 39 degrees out.
This was the reaction I received when I told him I could no longer feel my fingers so it was time to go inside.
Thank God for little people. Seriously. These two brought a bright and much needed light into our week. And Luka. Oh our little Luka. My brother called to tell us what Luka said when he told him that Grandma Florentine had gone to heaven. As follows:
Nathan: Luka, remember Grandma Thomson?
Luka: Yup!
Nathan: Well, she went to see Boppa.
Luka: (furrowed brow) Where?
Nathan: In heaven.
Luka: (pondering….pause….) Whoa! That sounds like fun!!
If only I could see the world the way the wee ones do. :)
I apologize for the long hiatus. I had a little talk with God on the ride home today and told him that I really hope with all my heart that this is it for a long long long long time.
Much love today,
Krysta

I saw your blog comment on a post by Rachel Ashwell and noticed you were talking about the shabby chic store in Chicago. I live in Chicago too (and so loved that store!) so I clicked to read your blog and fell in love with your pictures- wow! They are beautiful! Anyways, it's been a joy to pop in and see some of the beautiful artwork you do- and my heart breaks when I read the posts about your dad, and now your grandma. I pray the Lord would comfort you in His grace this rainy Chicago day.
