Lilac Love

This is what made me a happy girl today.

Every day I run past a big beautiful lilac bush…and every day I stop to smell it before I continue on my way again. That scent brings me back to my childhood. However, I know their stay will be brief so today I decided to bring a few home with me and bask in that scent just a litttttle bit longer…

ali - The scent of lilacs bring back childhood memories for me too! We had a huge lilac bush on the side of our house in NY, at the edge of the trees where we played.. I haven't seen any lilacs since I've lived in California, but I can still smell them so clearly.. :)
