…a bit hard to find the words to explain how one can travel to the other side of the world and feel completely at home. How the miles have dissipated and the space between isn’t. How one week has passed and one week is left and still it doesn’t feel like enough time. Being here makes me wonder how the distance that separates ever seems okay.
Living in the moment. Enjoying. Breathing it all in. Loving. So thankful for this gift of time that has been given to me…
Much Love,

The time has come. I have the Princess bubbles Miss Ivish requested packed away safely in my bag. They are probably my most precious cargo as I was warned not to even bother stepping off the plane without them. I have cleared a bajillion memory cards for safe measure to ensure I have enough room for lots and lots of pretty pictures. …and I pretty much only packed 14 dresses and 3 pairs of sandals. Well, and my MAC lipstick, NARS lip gloss, and Juicy perfume, but that’s a no brainer. I can’t think of anything else I’ll need. …and my rules for this trip?
No cell phone.
Live simply.
Just enjoy.
It is not every day I get to see my Sheye and I want to soak it all in…
A note that I will be out of the office until March 1st. I will begin booking at home and on location sessions for the remainder of 2010 beginning March 1st! To book a session, you can do so here. For those of you in Minnesota that have been inquiring about open dates, I will post those as well when I return. I will be checking e-mail periodically, but will not be responding until I get back.
*There will also be a giveaway the first week of March so make sure you stop back for details!*
Australia – I can’t wait to meet you! :)
Hope your next few weeks are beautiful everyone…
Much Love,

Well, it has begun. The packing. The crossing off of things on the “to do” list. The running around like a crazy woman trying to gather last necessities before I leave. This time next week I will be on a plane making my way half way around the world. Not to be done without a short stop in Cali first though. I do plan on stocking up on Pinkberry and Sprinkles before I make headway again. Final destination: Australia. I have so many emotions about what this trip means. However, I don’t think my brain has fully allowed me to let it sink in…
I was looking at my two boys this weekend thinking how much I would miss them and hoping they would be okay. I know they will be, but there’s always that underlying need to take care of them. When I told Mikey that I would be on a plane for a very very long time and would be on the opposite side of the world when I landed, his lower lip came out and his eyes got big. He then asked if I was bringing him a toy back. When I assured him that there would be treats for him, all was well in his world again. So while I’m leaving these two behind for two weeks, I know there’s a family waiting many miles over with open arms. To think of seeing them when I step off that plane makes my heart sing…very loudly! :)
Sooo, if anyone has any song or book suggestions, I am all ears. Patience is something that tends to be lacking in my world. It is a constant work in progress. I’m like a small child in that I need a consistent flow of activity to keep this restless mind at bay.
I also want to thank everyone for leaving so many beautiful comments. Do you know that they put a smile on my face and make my day? Every one of them so thank you. :)
Oh and apparently I failed to post this info on the new blog. So here it is again:
Find me on:
And with that, I am off to make that ever growing list smaller. Much much smaller.
Much Love,
Krysta
