Meet Erin. She is my old neighbor. I have very fond memories of her parents coming over to sit outside with my parents and other neighbors in our culdesac. I was a teenager then and remember being inside talking on the phone and hearing nothing but roaring laughter outside. It was such a comforting sound. And there was Erin. She was such a funny, outgoing child. I must tell you…not much has changed. I could NOT stop laughing during this shoot. If nothing else, she could be a comedian or a voice over or something to do with making people laugh until they can’t breathe. I have candids of my mother doubled over in laughter from this shoot. I kid you not.
She has grown into SUCH a beautiful girl and to say I was giddy when I got to be the one to take her senior pictures would be an understatement.
Here is Miss Erin in all her beauty…
I pretty much wanted to steal her headphones…

…and her bling…

LOVE.

…and LOVE. A special thank you to my mother for scoping out this gem of a theater.

Erin loves this tree. She calls it the Lion King Tree. And oddly enough. I also love this tree. I have wanted to stop many times and capture it. So we did.

The sky as we wrapped up her shoot. Gorgeous.

…and yet another shoot where there are an insane amount of images sitting in my “post” folder that I could post, but seriously I have to draw the line somewhere don’t I? :)
We ended the night with a fabbbuulous dinner at their house and I’m not gonna lie. Erin and I may have bantered back and forth with lines from “The Family Guy”. As you do at dinner. :)
Thank you Pretty Girl for asking me to take your pictures. I love them just as much as I love you.
Much Love,
Krysta
Well, these pretty little pictures have been patiently sitting here waiting to be blogged, but I have been a sick girl all week. So I decided to post them before I go to bed…at 9:30. :)
Now let me tell you this. Three kids = run for your money…and I know that all of you parents out there are laughing. I love the second picture because it perfectly showcases this shoot…everyone going their own which way and me gladly chasing after them!
We met at the Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. Being a Minnesota native myself, I had never been there. My mom was there to assist and told me it was my Grandfather’s favorite place to visit. I now know why. It was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot.
I couldn’t resist the cute little Chloe feet:

Sweet Chloe:

We even found a little friend along the way…

Love this of Reagan. :)

Thank you Lehner family for such a beautiful day! There are many more images coming your way…
Much Love,
Krysta
…and some days you lose. Apparently taking pictures of Michael was not in the cards today as you can clearly see. Little does he know that he even looks cute when he’s pouting.

…although he did allow me to take a picture of his socks and shoes. How kind although not exactly what I had envisioned. :)

…and that is all I have today. I’m off to lay down. I have been feeling under the weather all day and am reaaaallly hoping it’s not the start of the flu. :(
Hope everyone had a happy weekend!
Krysta
Yes, yes I know. It’s been awhile. Truth be told, the past two weeks have been bbuuusssyyy. Part of that busy’ness was traveling back to Minnesota for a few shoots. First up, Miss Matiah. How gorgeous is she? The first image is one of my all-time favorites. As soon as I took it, I stopped and had to show her and her mom how beautiful it was. The sun that night was amazing and her beautiful face is amazing. The perfect combination for the result below:

I tend to get a little carried away at times with ideas. I really realllly wanted a shabby white table and chair in the middle of a field. Everyone thought I was crazy. I even thought I might be a touch crazy, but I’m so glad I insisted because the picture is prettier than I had even imagined in my head…

Another favorite:

I love this picture…for Matiah’s cousin Trae who was taken from this earth much much too soon…

There are seriously SO many images from this shoot that I love. I fear if I posted all of the pictures, this post could be never-ending.
Matiah – thank you for letting me capture all that is you gorgeous girl!!
Much Love,
Krysta
Oh how I looooovvveed this shoot. And I do mean loooooovvveeedd.
It came complete with one adorable family.

…a beautiful little girl…

…and another gorgeous girl…

Love these of Miss Katelyn. She tried so hard to blow the fuzzy white stuff off…

…and when that didn’t work she tried again. She reeeaallly tried! :)

There was a tea party for two in the forest…

…where tea and butterfly cookies were served…

…there were also pouting looks for more of those butterfly cookies…

…there was lots and lots of twirling…

…and running…

…and pretty little fairies…

How lucky am I that I got to spend the afternoon with these two gorgeous girls! As soon as I walked up and saw them, I put my hand to my chest and gasped. They both looked like they stepped straight out of the Crewcuts magazine and I think it’s safe to say we all know about my Crewcuts adoration. Well, turns out so does their mommy so we got a long juuuust fine!
We spent three hours playing at Doctor’s Park. I had never been there before and it was so perfect. I kept making them stop every few feet because the light coming in through the trees was so beautiful. And did I mention their mommy is also a florist annnd a dentist? Yes, it’s true. So I now know where to go for pearly whites, pretty bouquets, and lovely little models.
Lauren and Katelyn – I had so much fun playing with you pretty girls all afternoon. I hope mommy and daddy love your pictures.
Until our next tea party…
Much Love,
Krysta
