Heellooooo!! So, it’s been awhile. I do apologize. My mother decided to have a face to face meeting with a lil’ something known as pavement and I assure you the outcome was not pretty. Her poor little front teeth are now nestled (a polite way of saying shoved) up into her gums. :( Oh it makes me sad just thinking about it. So, we are anxiously awaiting the fate of her pearly whites. She is in good spirits though…thank God she’s got a great sense of humor. We came up with many outlandish stories to tell people! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes…
Sooo awhile ago I posted a sneak peek of Dan and Laura and here are a few more from their session.

I met Laura through my friend Michelle. Michelle told me that I would love her, that she was crazy, and that she would make me laugh until I could no more. Weeks later, five girls including Laura and I, were piled into an SUV to make a 16 hour trek to Colorado for seven days of pure bliss in the mountains. She did indeed hold Michelle true to her word…she had us all doubled over within minutes of meeting her. I met Dan awhile after and the two of them together are like a mini comedy act…just sit back and be ready to be entertained.
SO, the day of the shoot, I told Laura that she had to try to be serious. She did a fabulous job, but would crack one-liners right before the shot and so there I would be with camera shaking in hand, trying to steady myself.
They are such an amazing couple and I am so excited to shoot their July wedding!
Dan and Laura – you two are in fact crazy and that is why I love you so. I had such a great time with the both of you and the images I was able to capture are indeed as beautiful as you are.
Much love,
Krysta

…or Happy “Balentimes” Day as Michael would say.
We spent our day with a morning mocha, red velvet cupcakes, cookies from Grandma Denise, a visit from Mike, Leah, and baby Brodie, and a trip to Target in which an $8.00 Star Wars light saber rocked Michael’s entire world. I don’t believe he’s come down from his saber high yet and I don’t see it happening soon. Rumor is, there is talk of another one entering our house so he and Brady can battle. I can hear them discussing colors now. Someone save me.
Sidenote: * I have pictures of the saber King, but Brady said I couldn’t post until he got his. Seriously.*
Lotsa Love,
Krysta

of what I’m working on…the ever beautiful Laura and Dan.
More to come…

So, the other day I walked into Anthropologie to take back a shirt that I tried desperately to make fit, but quite frankly did not at all. I knew this when I bought it, but I would not let myself believe it. I returned the shirt and repeated to myself over and over again that I could only look and that nothing else would find its way home with me. *Sidenote: This never happens, but I feel better in saying it. * Buuuttt…what am I to do when there is a saallleee? I’ve had my eye on these beauties for a long time now, but I could not come up with a good enough story to tell Brady as to why I neeeeeded to spend $100 on dresser knobs. Not this time kids….I got some Anthro love as they were $2.95 and I danced myself silly in the store. Without a thought, I marched on up to the register and didn’t think twice about it. I am loving them on my white dresser. I can assure you they will be short lived as I’m pretty sure someone, whose name I won’t mention, will have them removed by tomorrow.
My God, they make me giddy though…
Happy weekend!
