Meet the newest member of our family – Monkey (Michael named him. Very clever!) He sat on a shelf in Michael’s room, untouched, for months until one day he asked us to take him down so he could see him. He has not left Michael’s hands since!

This picture makes me so sad because he looks so old! I told him he has to stop growing and he said, “I can’t. I have to get bigger than Daddy!”

….and the rest of the black and white series. I couldn’t narrow them down so I chose four instead of three. It’s not an easy decision when he’s so adorable!!

There. A little Michael to tide you all over. I am outta here! B is already out in Cali and I am flying out to meet him for a week! I am ready for some rest, relaxation, and time spent with some of my most favorite people in this world…(and of course there will be shopping, Sprinkles cupcakes, and the beach somewhere in there too!)

So my partner in crime and quintessential sidekick, Kelly, and I have had this shoot planned since the day Katelyn was born it seems like. We had planned 6 month pictures and then 1 year pictures and well, now she’s turning TWO! So, we decided to finally make a day of it and surprise Katelyn’s mommy at her two year birthday party with pictures of this absolutely gorgeous girl! Hours spent in Baby Gap and many outfits later we were ready for our little model. Grandma even came along which was a huge help…she thought of things Kelly and I would’ve nneevveerr thought of! Thank you Grandma!!
..and no worries…Katelyn’s mommy doesn’t have the web address to my blog so we are good to go! Kelly and Grandma…here is your sneak peek of Miss K. Thank you for letting me capture all that is Katelyn…

(and let me know what Mommy thinks!)

…working on a series of three new pictures of Mr. Michael to hang in our entryway. I have gone absolutely ga-ga over this one!!

My beloved Navy Pier in my beloved Chicago. I knew it’d be a stretch to get Brady to go on any of the rides so my second best option was to start snapping away…

Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen!

…and really how could you not? We were coming home from fireworks late last night and Mikey was tiiiiiiired. He was striking up conversation as he fought to stay awake and said, “I “sink” everybody likes me guys.” I think so too Michael. I think so too.
I know I do.
We hit the beach again today and Michael was looking as studly as ever. He is always the best dressed one of the bunch…I try to keep up with his good fashion sense. :) We stayed for hours building sand castles, playing soccer, and just enjoying the BEAUTIFUL day!! Soon, it’s off to watch the movie “Wall-E” as we wrap up our perfectly perfect weekend!!
