And so every morning as I sip my mocha, I do my little daily blog flip through blogs all over the world that I adore. My favorite of course, being the ever exquisite Ms. Sheye Rosemeyer because well, she’s just divine really. SO, taking a page from her playbook, here’s 10 things Krysta style…

1. My mom kept a very detailed baby book from when I was little. A little quote from when I was two…”Krysta, age 2: When Krysta gets upset she stomps, her face turns very red, and she shakes. It scares me. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.” I plead the fifth. I ask you to look at the adorable, innocent, angelic little girl below and you be the judge. I believe she made it up.

2. In college, my girlfriends and I got into a discussion about activities we did when we were younger. I told them I could still do a round-off back handspring from my many years in gymnastics. They did not believe me and so I marched outside to prove to them I was still a fierce, limber gymnast. Mid flip, my left hand went into a small divet in the ground, snapping it and leaving it broken in four different places. (I still landed.) I went to the hospital to get my arm set and went straight off to a house party afterwards. (Mother, cover your ears.) Only in college I tell you.

3. My wishes:
* that I could have all of my favorite people in the same spot.
* that I could see Alex again…my heart sinks just thinking about him.
* that I could have my natural light studio (I have it designed in my head) right now!
* that I could relax. My mind is alllwwwaayyyss going.
* that I could take a year off and travel this beautiful world.

4. I am quite honestly teetering on the brink of OCD for germs. Purell is my best friend – I never leave home without it. Poor Michael is constantly getting slimed when he least expects it. The thought of Clorox Bleach literally puts a smile on my face. Every day I wake up thinking that today may just be the day that Brady hauls me off to therapy. :)

5. If we’re talking nicknames…
My immediate family calls me “Cowcie”, Sabrena calls me “Kay-Kay”, my Aunt Kathy calls me “Petunia” or “Tunia”, Cousin Andrew calls me “Toony Bug”, Stacy calls me “Lola” (she thinks I’m showy), Kelly calls me “Mizzle”, Erin calls me “Missy Sparkles”, and the Queens call me “Queen Cass”. Oh and Brady wanted me to add that he calls me, “Whiney Yell Machine” although it would be in his best interest to say he’s just kidding. :)

6. Strange things always happen to me. The Queens call it “the zone” (insert twilight music here). I am always meeting quirky people, witnessing the most absurd of events, or having the most unusual happenings in my day. Brady says he’s never seen anything like it before and that I must have some strange magnetic force to brings these things to me. Whatever it is, I would have it no other way.

7. I say everything in sing-song because it’s just more fun that way.

8. Years ago my friend Lisa gave me a gift that I will forever tag as the most “unusual” gift I have ever received.” The gift? A BABY ALLIGATOR. If you don’t believe me, take a look below. He was a teeny tiny baby alligator named Kwesi. I actually grew to love the little guy especially when he gave me love chirps like I was his Mama. However, when he got big enough where he would rather eat me than love me, our bonding time was over.

9. My hair is very long and will stay as such. When I was in the sixth grade, I had long, beautiful hair down to my butt. I’m not sure what possessed me to decide I wanted it chopped off. I went in to get an angled bob to my chin and the lady hacked it so short it was shaven up the back and barely an inch on top. I kid you not. I would never kid of such things. I cried and cried and cried. The kids at school called me “butch.” I still have nightmares about it to this day. My hairdresser Thomas said to me, “Sweetie, you have been abused by hairdresssssseeerrrss. I’ll have to treat you extra special.” ..and he does. Dear boy.

10. My loves:
* Starbucks (Lord, how I’ve tried to stop…)
* Bubble baths (I have to take one every night or I can’t sleep)
* PINK Victoria Secret sweats (I have 12 pair. :{ )
* Naughty Monkey high heels (they call out to me. What am I to do?)
* Jon and Kate Plus 8 – LOVE the show…they remind me of Brady and I and the kids are so incredibly ccuuttee!
* A good run (hate the first 3 minutes and then I’m ready to do work!)
* My dad’s cooking (smartest man I know, but missed his calling as a chef I swear!)
* Chicago (something about that city put stars in my eyes)
* My iPod (listen to it all day every day on shuffle)
* My Juicy socks (cuz they’re pretty and cozy comfy)

Well, there you have it!
Okay Charity – passing it along to you. I told you to be ready girl. Let’s get goin’!!
